Pastor's Advisory Counsel (PAC)Exists to provide sound advice to the pastor; develops church priorities and devises strategies and plans in pursuit of accomplishing the church mission—achieving the vision. Primarily, PAC members work with the pastor to develop and monitor the church list of priorities and assess ministry effectiveness. The list of church priorities serves as the cornerstone of reference for pastoral advice. Pastor's Aides CommitteeExists to aid the pastor in the administration of her duties. Helps to extend pastoral care through the membership of the church, as well as through other opportunities that arise. Accompanies the pastor on mission work and speaking engagements. Leads the effort of church members' care and bereavement needs. Also, works closely with the ordinance ministry in the planning, coordination, and preparation of all church ordinance services. * Care and Bereavement Operations and Administration MinistryExists to maintain the routine recurring operational and administrative needs of the church. This ministry serves as the nucleus of the church, composed of the church board. * Administrative and Legal Records Deacons MinistryExists to establish and maintain the fellowship between the deacons and general membership. Victory Church deacons are ministers of mercy to destitute members of the congregation and appointed to attend to the "business" of the church. Deacons are responsible for the functions of planning and coordinating church ordinances (i.e., baptisms and communion), maintenance and cleaning, parking and security. * Church Ordinance Outreach MinistryExists to take the Gospel beyond the confines of the church. Also, encourages and facilitates those in need of a church home to fellowship with the body of believers at a church. * Missionaries
In Reach MinistryExists to develop the general membership, potential members, and visitors in the area of spiritual welfare and growth. Purpose is to provide members with the resources to develop Godly character and to equip them for effective Christian living. * In-House Evangelism Porters MinistryExists to build a bridge between members, visitors, and Victory Church through love, contact, and fellowship. Also, serves to assist in welcoming, greeting, and seating attendees in a spirit of love while maintaining order and safety in the sanctuary, building, and grounds. * Ushers and Greeters Youth MinistryExists to encourage our youth to know God (through prayer, praise, and participation); know themselves (with gifting, calling, and destiny); and grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. * Youth Bible Study Music MinistryExists to deliver the Word of God in song, using music and singing as one of the primary means of changing how people feel in order to bring about edification, exhortation, and comfort. Aims to usher people into the presence of God, so that His power is released, inspiring them to discipleship, evangelism, ministry, and most of all, an intimate relationship with Him. * Church Choirs Media and Communications MinistryExists to reach our members, visitors, community, and the world with the Gospel through "in-house" communication, outlets to the community, the sales of books, tapes, and video products of Christian material, and worship services. Provides a vehicle of outreach with products for growth, study, meditation, and communion. Serves to ensure that members are kept informed and the church is properly represented to the public. Serves as the conduit by which services and events are advertised, supported with proper sound quality, and recorded for sales and distribution. * Sound and Video Department *Public Relations |
